Exciting Change in Venue for Top 10 Films

The 8th annual The Shoot Out 24 Hour Filmmaking Festival kicks off on October 7th at 5:55 PM in front of the Boulder County Courthouse on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. Screenings are in a new venue in North Boulder at the Nomad Theater on Quince and Broadway. If you register and pay online via PayPal between now and midnight on Wednesday, October 21, you* will be invited the Filmmaker’s Breakfast on Saturday between 8-10 AM at the Historic Plains Hotel. These day long events will inspire film-makers to make a fast film while teaching them the methodology of successful short-form storytelling, lighting, directing, and in-camera editing. Special emphasis will be paid to The Shoot Out’s official format and requirements.
